Hi there! My name is Housam Ayouni, I’m Italian, and I am the proud owner of two beautiful dogs – a Border Collie and a Belgian Malinois. As someone who has always had a deep love for dogs, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to my site, where I hope to share my knowledge, experience, and passion with others.
I have a passion for dogs that is evident in everything I do. I have always been drawn to their intelligence, loyalty, and unique personalities. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to learning as much as I can about canine care and behavior, and I am constantly seeking out new ways to improve my skills and knowledge.
As a volunteer in dog shelters in Italy and Spain, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of dogs, from puppies to seniors, and I have learned a great deal about how to approach and handle different breeds and temperaments. I have also developed a deep understanding of the challenges that many dogs face, and I am committed to helping them overcome any obstacles they may encounter.
In addition to my personal experience with dogs, I also have professional knowledge and expertise in the field. I have completed numerous online and offline courses on dog training and behavior, and I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow.
I believe that my education and qualifications, combined with my passion and dedication to dogs, make me a reliable and trustworthy source of information and guidance for others who love and care for their canine companions.
I understand that every dog is unique, and that every owner has their own set of concerns and needs. That’s why I strive to be empathetic and understanding of my readers, and to offer support and guidance whenever possible.
I believe that by sharing my own personal experiences and expertise, I can help others provide the best possible care for their dogs, and build strong and rewarding relationships with their furry friends.
In addition to my work as a dog blogger, I’m also an avid traveler and lover of different cultures. I speak several languages and enjoy documenting my adventures through photography. But no matter where I go or what I’m doing, dogs will always be my favorite thing in the world.
Thank you for visiting my site and joining me on this journey!
History of The Collienois
Thecollienois.com was founded in 2018 with the goal of providing a comprehensive resource for dog owners everywhere. As a lifelong dog lover with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge, I saw a need for a place where dog owners could come for reliable information, support, and inspiration.
But my journey with dogs started long before Thecollienois.com.
My journey with dogs began when I was a child and a curious puppy found its way into my country house. Even though I had no idea how to take care of a dog, I was overjoyed to have this little bundle of energy in my life.
When I first laid eyes on that little puppy, my heart was immediately filled with love and adoration. Despite my lack of experience with dogs, I was determined to give him the best home possible.
On the first night, I did my best to make him comfortable by giving him a towel to sleep on. Little did I know that he would use his sharp teeth to destroy it! From then on, it was a nonstop adventure as he nibbled on everything he could get his paws on – electric wires, bills, magazines, you name it.
Despite the chaos, I was happy to have his company and spent every moment I could enjoying his presence. But all good things must come to an end, and after two months of pure joy, my little pup wandered away from home and never returned. It was a sad day, but I’ll always remember him as the cutest trouble I ever had.
As time passed, I got busy with life, but the memories of my first puppy stayed with me always.
As I grew older, my love for dogs only intensified. I started volunteering at local shelters and rescued as many dogs as I could. It was through this work that I realized the power of the internet to connect dog lovers and provide a platform for sharing information and resources.
Eventually, I was drawn to dogs once again and met Buddy, reigniting my love even more for these amazing creatures.
It was love at first sight (He still is a professional heart stealer).
I knew I had to adopt him, but I quickly realized that I still had a lot to learn about caring for a dog. My lack of knowledge led to some frustrating and expensive moments, with my dear Buddy getting sick and me struggling to balance my time.
But I refused to give up on my love for dogs. Instead, I dedicated myself to learning all I could about dog behavior and how to properly care for them. When I adopted Selma, a Belgian Malinois, in 2018, I was a much more experienced and confident dog parent.
It was during this happy time that I felt the desire to create a resource for other dog owners like myself, a place where I could document my own journey with Buddy and Selma and share my insights with others. And so, Thecollienois.com was born.
The name of my site, Thecollienois.com, is a playful blend of the two breeds that inspire it – the Border Collie and the Belgian Malinois. The “collie” in Thecollienois is a nod to the clever and energetic Border Collie, while the “nois” honors the bold and confident Belgian Malinois. And as if that weren’t enough, the logo of the site features a blend of the two breeds, with half of the face belonging to each. It’s a unique and fitting tribute to the pups that bring so much joy to my life.
I poured my heart and soul into my blog, writing about everything from training tips to dog breeds guides to product reviews.
I am so proud of the success that Thecollienois.com has achieved over the past 5 years. It has been a rewarding experience to be able to help so many people and their pets, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my love for dogs with others.
My goal has always been to assist others in living a calmer, more fulfilling life with their beloved pets, and it’s clear that we are making a real impact.
With more than 1 million people from all corners of the globe visiting our site, we have received countless messages of thanks and testimonials from people who have been able to improve their relationship with their pets thanks to the resources and guidance we provide.
It is truly humbling to see the positive impact that Thecollienois.com has had on so many people and their furry companions.
I am so grateful to be able to do this work and to be able to reach so many people.
Here’s to continued success and helping even more people in the future!
